Nothing here is performed for an audience. This is a congregation gathered around the Word, and it sounds like it.
The Word preached
Sunday worship centers on the reading and preaching of Scripture. The text is opened plainly, and it is applied to the week you are actually living.
The old songs
Our choir and musicians lead the congregation in the traditional gospel songs — the ones that have carried this church and its families for generations.
Prayer for real needs
The sick, the grieving, the young people and the whole Sheldon community are brought before the Lord by name, every service.
